The Regional Economic Growth Research Of Anhui Province Based On Spatial Econometric Analysis

Along with the seriousness of imbalanced economic development, Regional Economics becomes a hot spot and many scholars have paid attention to it. The studies of Chinese regional economic are through different methods, and spatial econometric methods becomes one of the hot research methods. The general research methods ignored the interaction between regional units which, in fact, is widespread. This kind of ignorance will lead to the situation that the estimated of some model were not accurate. But spatial econometric analysis are taking the spatial effect into account, and the space effect have been brought into the model in the form of weight on the researchs. Because of this advantage, a lot of theses about Regional Economic are in spatial econometric method. But many regional economic theses are all about Chinese provincial researchs, there are few on the municipal researchs. As we all know, the provincial researchs only reveal a provincial economic conditions on the whole and it is unable further to reveal the municipal and county economy. Through the regional economic analysis of the municipal or the county units, we can formulate regional economy policy more pertinently.Considering the fact that Economic research theses about the regional of Anhui is few, this paper is to research the difference of economic growth of the16cities in Anhui province by using spatial econometric method. First of all, by computing the index value, it will get the descriptive statistics of economic differences between the16cities in Anhui province. Next, it analyses the GDP of16cities in Anhui province in spatial econometric method, including making the spatial distribution map, Moran scatter diagram and LISA cluster diagram. Finally,, it will build panel data model of GDP of the16cities, through the ordinary least squares estimation model, spatial error model and the spatial lag model.Introduction part introduces Regional Economics research results and theory development. The western regional economics research location analysis, regional economic model and regional economic development and policy research. Regional economy convergence theory is an important part of regional economics, so economists of many country are committed to it. Chinese regional economics starts late, and it mainly uses the quantitative and qualitative analysis to the microscopic field.The second part introduces spatial econometric theory and model. Spatia econometric theory is dealing with the correlation, asymmetry and other spatial characteristics of the spatial economic data in the cross section and panel da-ta regression model, basing on the spatial statistics and econometric analysis.The theory develop rapidly, promoting by the model and the data.Along with the technical progress of the software, the spatial econometric is applied in various fields, formating such as urban economics subject, etc. Spatial correlation inspection methods are mainly Moran’s I index and G index. Spatial eco-nometric model includes the spatial lag model and the spatial error model.The statistical analysis of Anhui regional economic difference are two parts, including absolute difference and relative difference by selecting range, standard deviation,extremely rate and the variation coefficient index. Calculation the corresponding indexes in2000-2011years and make a line chart analysis. Anhui regional economic disparities is in the tendency of expansion, but the expanding speed has eased.The spatial econometric analysis of Anhui regional economic is to know the Anhui regional economic distribution mode by making the spatial distribution map, Moran scatter diagram and LISA cluster diagram. After analyzing,we know that Anhui province economic model take the Hefei as the center and to the other area in the periphery radiation pattern. The center cities, in which the Hefei is the center, are on a relatively high economic level and developing fast. The Wanbei area, as a representative of fuyang, belongs to the economic backward areas. Select variables to establish the spatial lag model and the spatial error model, than estimate the models in ordinary least squares method and the maximum likelihood method. It will analyse the economic growth factors of16cities in Anhui province from the estimation results. We can know that human capital, foreign investment promote the economic development of Anhui province, but savings rates and government spending restrain the economic development. There is interaction between16cities in Anhui province.The conclusion includes summary and policy Suggestions. It should strengthen cooperation between various cities in Anhui province to promote the economic development on the whole. The Wanbei area should combine their own characteristics with the spatial effect to accelerate the economic development speed. At last, it must Increase human capital reserves and improve the brain drain situation.
