Studies On The Influence Of The Upgrading Of The Industrial Structure In China To The Graduates’ Employment

The study of this paper is about the influence of the upgrading of the industrial structure in China to the graduates’employment; it’s an important branch of industrial economics and the employment of graduate research. The graduates’employment has always been one of the employment problems we are facing and has become increasingly serious in today’s complex economic environment, so our implements various measures to ease the employment pressure continuously. The measures of the readjustment of industrial structure to optimize the economic structure not merely can promote the economic development, but also can make a direct and profound influence on improving the employment structure and promoting the employment, especially on college students’ employment. This paper analyses the tough job market for college graduates from the point of view on the development of industrial structure and clarifies the correlation by theoretical and empirical methods. The purpose is to find out effective ways to improve ours industrial structure, and to provide feasible policy suggestions to promote college students’ employment.In the first place, this paper reviewed the domestic and foreign scholars’ related research on the industrial structure and employment structure, and combed the relevant research results on the relationship between industrial structure and the graduates’employment. Thus we can grasp the relationship between the two context clearly, make this paper has a definite object in view. With that, for studying the influence of the upgrading of the industrial structure in China to the graduates’employment, this paper analyses the overall development situation of our industrial structure and college students’ employment. And the author has designed a questionnaire for college graduates; attempt to do a tentative exploration in the relationship between them and to understand the basic situation of college students’employment at present intuitively. Then, this paper analyses the structure deviation and the employment elasticity by using the national statistics data from1992to2010. T The author deduced that the development of tertiary industry can promote the college students’employment better than the second industry; in order to illustrate the conclusion further, this paper uses employment elasticity of each sector in tertiary industry and the proportion of the graduates in various industries to analyze the influence of the upgrading of the industrial structure to the graduates’employment, and deduce that the development of the emerging industry in the third industry is the key to solve the problem of the graduates’employmentFinally, based on the above research conclusion and China’s specific national conditions, this paper put forward related policy suggestions to promote college students’employment by upgrading the industrial structure through drawing lessons from some developed countries about upgrading the industrial structure and promoting employment, and hoping to provide valuable reference for helping the future research.The first chapter presents the paper’s background、research significance research methods、research content, and defined the related concepts; The second chapter reviews and cardings the domestic and foreign scholars’relevant research results; The third chapter is based on the analysis of current situation of the upgrading of the industrial structure and the graduates’ employment, then uses the indexes of the structure deviation and the employment elasticity to analyze the relation effect between them; Specific to the third industry internal structure, the fourth chapter analyze the influence of each part of the third industry’s development to graduates’employment, and draw a conclusion that the emerging industry of the third industry development can promote the college students’ employment effectively; The fifth chapter is about the international experience for reference, including the industrial structure, employment structure development and the measures of promoting employment in developed countries, etc.; Based on the above analysis, the sixth chapter gets the conclusion and puts forward to some policy suggestions to promote college students’employment from the angle of industrial structure, includes promoting the upgrading of the industrial structure to reduce the gap between industrial structure and employment structure, focusing on the development of the emerging industry, strengthening the college students’ professional skill and relaxing the control to some industries etc.
