Study On The Impact Of Anhui’s Industrial Structure Upgrade On Employment

Employment is vital to people’s livelihood and is the source of enriching people. To improve the aggregate employment and employment structure is not only the objective need of economic development, but also the inherent requirement of building a harmonious socialist society. In China, the employment problem has been a significant economic and social issue of the whole society for a long time. State has always placed great emphasis on employment and reemployment work, introducing a series of policies and measures to ensure employment in different periods. Even so, China’s employment situation is still very serious, so is Anhui.Theoretical studies have shown that, as the carrier of the employment, industrial sectors have direct impact on employment. Industrial structure’s change will lead to changes in the aggregate employment and employment structure, so local government should take industrial structure adjustment strategy according to the actual situation to promote job growth.Since the reform and opening, with the rapid development of economy and the advancement of industrialization in Anhui, the industrial structure is undergoing drastic changes and has become the most important factor affecting the employment. How to eliminate the negative effect on the employment in the industrial structure upgrade and consider the employment problem in promoting optimization and upgrading of industrial structure has important practical significance to effectively reduce employment pressure, thus to realize the target of economic growth, structure optimization and employment expansion in Anhui.This article takes Anhui as the main research scope. We dynamically analyze the relationship between the industrial structure upgrade and employment by combination of normative analysis, empirical analysis and comparative analysis, in order to obtain objective understanding of employment and the industrial structure upgrade in Anhui. At last, from the perspective of industrial structure adjustment and upgrading, and combined with Anhui’s specificity, we put forward suggestions accordingly. This article is divided into seven parts. In the first chapter, we study the purpose and significance, content and methods, innovation and deficiency of this article. In the second chapter, the related theory and literature at home and abroad is reviewed. In the third chapter, we introduce the theory basis of how the industrial structure upgrade affect the employment. The fourth chapter is the main body of this article. In this part, we analyze the industrial structure upgrade’s impact on employment in Anhui. At first, we discuss the industrial structure upgrade’s impact on aggregate employment by establishing a simple regression model. Then we make a detailed discussion on the influence of the industrial structure upgrade on employment structure by analyzing Anhui’s industrial structure and employment structure evolution process and using structure deviation degree, comparative labor productivity, regional and international comparison. In the fifth chapter, we explore the reasons why the second and third industry’s ability of absorbing labor is not strong. The sixth chapter is about countermeasures and suggestions. In view of the front chapter, from the angle of second and third industry, we put forward the path for industrial structure adjustment and upgrading which is conductive to employment growth. In the seventh chaptrer, we draw a conclusion and summarize the full text.
