Nowadays, China’s business travel market is facing a new growth, there is morebusiness opportunities and very good market prospect. However, with increasinglysophisticated business travelers and the severer industry competition, China’s hotelindustry is facing very severe challenges.In the complex and changing market competition, good management team is thekey factor to improve the key competitiveness effectively and thus to make the hotelwin against the competition. Yan Cheng Hotel in Hengyang City is the first four-starhotel and the leading hotel in Hengyang City. With the rapid economic developmentof Hengyang City, and consumers become increasingly sophisticated, Since Hua TianHotel, Shen Long Hotel, and Lin Yin Holiday located in Hengyang one after another,which brought a considerable impact to the business of Yancheng Hotel. Where after,the dominant position and market share declined, the diversion of customers and staffloss, etc., became the great threat to the future development of the hotel.In this article, the author choose the senior management team of Yancheng hotelas research object and use the related management and inspiring experiences of homeand foreign scholars as reference. By analysing the background and significance forthe hotel industry, combined with the development strategy and corporate culture ofYancheng hotel and related foreign and domestic inspiring theory, and throughresearching the condition of an inspiring system of senior management personnel, thisarticle analyzed the present existing problems, such as inspiring with no relevant tocooperation strategy, ineffective cooperation culture, simplex inspiring method,unscientific performance assessment system and insufficient and irrational spiritualstimulation, etc., build a new inspiring system, of which the main content is buildingscientific performance assessment system, rational salary and welfare policy, careerand development design and effective inner stimulation system. what’s more, proposeguarantee measures and progressing procedures to the implement of the new inspiringsystem.After research, the author thought building the inspiring system of the companyis highly important than the prospect of the company’s human-resource managementand development, and thus, it is a must to build a greatly scientific system combinedwith both material and spirit inspiring, based on the real condition and related inspiring theories, research and outcomes, with which to stimulate the initiative andenthusiasm of the senior management personnel, to improve the key competitivenessof the hotel.
