The development of polyacrylonitrile fiber products has50to60years of history. Ourcountry introduced the production line of polyacrylonitrile fiber at the1970s and1980s.Driven by the needs of the market, polyacrylonitrile fiber industry has been developedrapidly in domestic, and entered a period of rapid development at the1990s. Annual rate ofgrowth was more than10%. However, the polyacrylonitrile fiber market demand tended tobe saturated around2010. The growth of conventional production was slow, and annual rateof growth was in the range of3%-5%. A profit margin in the industry of polyacrylonitrilefiber decreased, and the low profit era of polyacrylonitrile fiber industry was come.Faced with this market situation, the enterprises with polyacrylonitrile fiber productsneed to unscramble the demand for market and make corresponding adjustment for strategyof product managementQifeng company is a famous polyacrylonitrile fiber manufacturer. It has a productioncapability of130,000tons per year, which is accounting for about15%in total amount ofpolyacrylonitrile fiber products in domestic. Qifeng company plays a leadership role inpolyacrylonitrile fiber field.After tens years of development of making every effort to make the companyprosperous, company has three kinds of fiber products, namely bundle, short fiber and topwool, and150different series products. Functional and differential fiber is accounting for16%in total amount of company’s products.Facing with the intense competitive environment, Qifeng company made importantadjustment for the business strategy. So it needs to optimize the production managementsystem continuously and increase the level of R&D, production planning management,production information management, and production quality control to realize the aim toenhance the product competition.In this work, the production management system of Qifeng company was analyzed, andit needed to be optimized.1.Production management organization is a functional organizational structure of production. This organization can work well at the beginning of the development, but it cannot work well in the R&D of new product. This is reflected in the fact that the R&D group isestablished under the functional departments. The company’s overall R&D capability cannot be combined validly, and research efforts has been dispersed. So in the process ofdetailed R&D project, the phenomenon of lack of R&D efficiency can be occurred.In this thesis, the production management organization was optimized. Matrixproduction organization and management structure was used. For on thing, the originalproduction management can not be affected, fragmented research efforts of functionaldepartments can be integrated to achieve the advantages of centralized research efforts andrealize the aim of promoting new research and development rapidly.2.There are certain problems in the company’s production plan management, namely ITtechnology is not established around master production schedule. The functions of manydepartments involved. Task allocation, the responsibility was defined unreasonable. Planimplementation process is relatively long time. It does not meet the basic requirements of JIT.It is difficult to achieve "zero" stock.In this thesis, I optimized business processes was optimized base on master productionschedule, improved the preparation of master production schedule from. Rapid and flexibleadjustment of product variety was achieved to make it more suitable for mass productproduction orders to achieve "zero" stock.3.Qifeng company’s production information management system is built on OAtechnology and database systems, and at the same time connects with DCS. It has a verypowerful information management capabilities. But after master production schedulingoptimization, corresponding new production information management system needs to bedone to increase and extension related functions to ensure the smooth implementation of themaster production schedule. So in this thesis, the optimization of information managementcapabilities was tried.4.Qifeng company’s production quality management is the focus and managementstrengths. Overall management is excellent. However, there are still a number ofmanagement flaws, and it needs to be optimized.Qifeng company’s key production processes are the polymerization units and thespinning unit. There is the phenomenon of receiving the raw material informal.Polymerization Process can not be adjusted timely. Optimization Model of adjustingspinning formulations is lacked in the processing of spinning. Extensive management exists. These details should be standardized.In the process of optimization of production quality management, targeted managementoptimization was made for aforementioned phenomenon. Appropriate standardization systemwas established. The appropriate management responsibilities matrix was established. It mayplay a positive role in promoting the stability of the overall quality of our products.After optimization and analysis of Qifeng company production management system,Production management level and the overall competitiveness of products can be improvedto make a positive role in the good long-term development.
