| Soft power is firstly proposed by the America’s scholars, Nye, projecting thisconcept onto the region formed the concept of regional soft power, this is a relativelyabstract concept, is the sum of all intangible spiritual strength, can not be measured byhard indicators, however, soft power is as important to the development of a country orthe area as hard power. More previous studies of the soft power were qualitative analysis,this paper is to analyze the level of soft power and the impact on regional economicdevelopment from the quantitative point of view.In order to analyze the impact of regional soft power for regional economicdevelopment, based on the previous theories and research results, digestion andabsorption of the existing concept and the related theory, this article adds a new elements--technology innovation in the original elements, and forms a set of comprehensiveevaluation index system, to quantify of regional soft power, which is convenient for thelateral and longitudinal comparison of different regions and the same time in differentregions. After the analysis of the current status of regional soft power and thedevelopment of regional economy of seventeen cities in Shandong province, and thenthis article makes regression analysis about the quantized regional soft power andmeasure index of the degree of economic development (GDP), finally determines theoptimal econometric model after sifting through the significant test, test forheteroscedasticity, autocorrelation test and residual analysis among the different models,and showes the influence degree of regional soft power for regional economicdevelopment by the equation. To provide a basis and reference for relevant departmentsto measure regional soft power, help them to strengthen the construction of regional softpower, improve the regional soft power and promote the regional development. |
