With the auto industry in recent years in the development of China’s high-speedcompetition in the market, the auto parts enterprises are facing more and more intense.What one of biggest challenges is how to decrease product cost, improve product qualityand shorten lead time, is focused on by each company. And TPM (total productiveMaintenance) is an advanced management system which focus on equipment managementsystem, it base on full participation by all employees, with continuous improvementactivities to reduce wastage production and business activities, loss and non-confirmingproduct. It simulate all employees, the initiative to create a positive, efficient operation ofthe corporate culture.This article is base on HA equipment management status of the company, what ismore, this is one of requirements from group company. According to feature of the plant,we introduce TPM management concepts, to carry out5S activities, reasonable suggestions,individual improvement, a point lesson, and actively to carry out autonomous maintenanceof the employees, and support TPM executive committee meets regularly to reviewprogress and give each group supports. After nearly three years of TPM activities,combined with key performance indicators (KPI) data and verify the implementation ofTPM can bring huge benefits to the enterprise, both tangible and intangible benefits. Theoverall equipment efficiency (OEE) is vastly improved, gradually reduce the cost of theproduct, Increase communication and collaboration between employees, improved staffmorale.
