Especially Chengdu as the central metropolis of the Midwest, the international and domestic well-known companies see Chengdu as a bridgehead into western China market, is to build the world city as the goal, development strategic focus is turning to modern service industry development. And Wuhou District as one of the core of downtown Chengdu City, inevitable requirement is to speed up the gathered development of modern service industry, take the mission of "comprehensive modernization" and "internationalization" actively, make Wuhou District into the western modern service industry gathering regional center and the reform innovation demonstration area. So choose to promote Wuhou District modern service industry development as the research subject has very important practical significance.This article attempts to see Chengdu Wuhou District as the object of empirical analysis, using the method of consulting literature materials, learned related theory research of the modern service industry, draw lessons from other developed advanced district modern service industry development experience and model, to explore Wuhou District modern service industry development. This article also uses comparative analysis method, through comparison of the modern service industry and the internal industry, and analyzing the current situation of Wuhou District modern service industry development and element of influence factors from the perspective of qualitative and quantitative.
