Research On Locomotive Quality Management System Based On Process And Batch Traceability

Railway is the main artery of China’s national economy and social development. As the carriage equipment on the railway, locomotives are responsible for most of the passengers and goods transportation. Safety is the lifeline of railway transportation and the eternal theme of the motorcycle industry. The locomotive products’ quality is directly related to the overall situation of national economy, people’s lives, country’s reputation and social stability. The Ministry of railway tends to strengthen work of the eight prevention, so in order to improve management efficiency, and ensure safety and quality of product, the QSY locomotive company needs to establish quality management system.Based on the analysis of quality management theory and quality management situations of the QSY locomotive company, the thesis takes use of methods of total quality management based on process and quality traceability based on batch to support the realization of the quality management system.Firstly, from three dimensions of product life cycle, quality activities and process to organize, the thesis builds the total quality management framework based on the product life cycle. With the introduction of process methods, general description and the structured approaches help to control quality management of each stage, and the thesis compares each structured approaches to determine their applicable conditions. On the basis of the framework of product life cycle total quality management, the thesis builds a quality management model with use of process-based approaches, and puts forward specific implementation steps.Then, with the introduction of batch management method, the thesis analyses the classification of batch and contents of batch quality information. After researching the meaning of product traceability, the thesis proposes the tool of bill of lots (BOL) to help to achieve quality track (forward traceability) and quality traceability (backward traceability). According to product batch forming process and quality retrospective process, the thesis builds the tracking traceability model to ensure products’ quality.Finally, based on the system requirements analysis, in accordance with the principles of system design and business objectives, the thesis plans the business processes, and builds a functional framework. Through the implementation of the organization, the system successfully runs on the product line. The QSY locomotive company’s quality management system achieves total quality management of product life cycle, as well as quality tracking traceability. It also improves the efficiency of "eight prevention" management to ensure the safety and quality products.The research of this thesis has a certain exemplary role for locomotive industry.
