Migrant workers is the product of economic and social system reform in our country. Theimplementation of household contract responsibility system, rural township enterprises and the riseof private economy, the influx of foreign capital and the relaxation of the household registrationsystem, etc., has given rise to a large number of rural surplus labor to the cities, they are in theprocess of industrialization and urbanization in our country play a vital role, but also triggered aseries of problems. Problem of migrant workers as a special historical period of great socialphenomenon, is a popular issues concerned by the whole society in recent years, the rural migrantworkers housing problem is one of the problems are particularly outstanding. Exist at present,China’s migrant workers housing housing complex, housing crowded space, surroundingenvironment, poor security conditions were bad problem, this situation directly affects the residence,the migrant workers into the quality of life, children education, cities, marriage involves theimmediate interests, such as the solution of the problem. In this paper, in terms of solutions from break the limitation of the household registrationsystem, change the existing land system, to improve the living conditions of migrant workers andthe housing environment, improve the housing security system, encourage large and medium-sizedenterprises to build rural migrant workers in collective dormitory and raise the income level andrural migrant workers’ rights consciousness as the breakthrough point, the housing problem solvingis helpful to study and accept migrant workers social norms,, interests, needs, motives, sentiment,temperament, personality and character, etc. In a sense, migrant workers housing problem study andsolve for the realization of industrialization, urbanization and modernization in our country, has itsobjective necessity.
