| Nowadays it is necessary for the insurance agency to do self-regulation in order to keep in pace with the growing insurance business. It is a facing task under the new circumstances for the postal corporation that how to determine the appropriate developing strategy through taking advantage of the present opportunity and coping with the challenges so as to retain the sustainable healthy and rapid growth.Since1980s, the main corporate strategic theories include the following ones:the classic strategic management theory which basing on the environment, the competitive strategy theory which relying on the analysis of the industrial structure and the core competence management theory which grounding on resource and competence.Combining the characteristics of the three theories, this paper analyzes the internal and external environment and tries to find out the core competence of the corporation through analyzing the opportunities and challenges which lie in the external environment as well as the advantages and disadvantages of the quality of the corporation. The paper finally chooses the competitive strategy after settling the competitive position of the corporation among the peers. Taking the way how to operate the insurance business as the main content, this paper first presents the postal insurance agencies at home and abroad and does some research about the internal and external environment as well as the industry circumstances for Shandong postal insurance agency, then through the SWOT system analysis the paper fully explains the way how the postal insurance agency turns the disadvantages into advantages and seizes the opportunities in difficulties. Meanwhile, this paper offers some suggestions for the postal corporations about how to deal with the market crisis and how to reduce the risk of the insurance agency business. This paper puts forward a "Quartet" for Shandong postal insurance agency business, which includes setting up agency industry, deepening into professional agency, cooperating with insurance companies and establishing more branch offices of Shandong postal insurance company.Having done a series of research and referred to the insurance laws and regulations, this paper tries to find an efficient, fast and sustainable developing method and to establish a strategy for effectively preventing and reducing the risk as well as improving professional business of insurance agency, which can enable the postal corporation to do its best and grasp more market share in order to strengthen and expand insurance agency business with the purpose of promoting the development of Shandong postal industry. |
