The Analysis And Optimization On Spatial Structure Of Scenic Spots In Huangshan City

Scenic spot is an important carrier of tourism development. Most tourist activities need to implement specific scenic spots ultimately. Scenic spot has been the industry’s focus, and also a research focus in the academic, for its position and function. Spatial structure of scenic spots, which is important for integration of tourism elements, coordination of regional tourism, and promotion of overall tourism competitiveness, has been discussed and developed quickly. It becomes an important aspect of regional tourism gradually.Huangshan City, a pioneer in China’s tourism industry, has made outstanding achievements in the construction and development of scenic spots. Since2006, the total number of A-grade scenic spots has increased in an average annual growth rate of26.6%, from26in2006to52in2009. The city plays a leading and exemplary role. However, spatial competition phenomenon of scenic spots has emerged."Cluster effect" induces "resource assembling shield competition", and "high intensity effect" causes "competitive inhibition". Due to unclear property relationship of regional spatial structure, a series of problems appear, such as fierce market competition, jumbled line organization, and bad traffic. In the new situation of "speed up the construction of a modern international tourism city", the task of transformation and upgrading is taken in hand. It need to re-examine the development of scenic spots, especially the spatial structure, which should be a key problem in the study.Following the path of "literature-theory-situation-countermeasure", this paper makes a study on the whole spatial structure of A-grade scenic spots in Huangshan City, for showing the direction and providing advice. First of all, there is a review of relevant research, to provide a gap in the perspective. Without independent theory system, the study is short of comprehensive exploration. The factor of time has not get enough attention, and methods have not yet formed a complete system. Secondly, the study discriminates the related concepts, such as scenic spots, spatial structure, and optimization, and reviews the relevant theories, such as tourism spatial structure theory, fractal theory, and symbiosis theory. It provides a theoretical framework and method of background for the following research. Thirdly, the study discusses the spatial characteristics of A-grade scenic spots from agglomeration degree, kernel density, equilibrium degree, scale and superior degree, connectivity, and accessibility. It provides a basis for countermeasures. Finally, according to the spatial characteristics, the author presents four solutions, including structure of spatial hierarchy, integration of regional tourism resources, building of district cooperation platform, and construction of internal and external traffic, to make layout more reasonable, relationship more harmonious and network more complete.
