Thanks to the advantage of labor cost, we have under taken a large number ofindustry transfer, especially the low-tech industry since the reform and opening up.According to the data, the rate of vertical specialization of our manufacturing industryexceeds20%.What’s more, the rate of vertical specialization of high-tech industry, such as electrical machinery industry, special equipment manufacturing industry andso on exceeds40%.This fact indicates that our manufacturing industry is lack of theability of research and development, our industrial products are lack of added value. At the same time, the level of our logistics industry is far lower than developedcountry. Small scale, low efficiency, high cost are three main problems of ourlogistics industry. There are many different ways to solve the difficulty ourmanufacturing industry and logistics industry meet now. As I see it, the linkagedevelopment between manufacturing industry and logistics industry will improve eachother. So, in this paper,I suppose to find a new and efficient way to improve ourmanufacturing industry and logistics industry by deeply research the status quo, characteristics, problem so of the linkage development between these two industry. For this paper, the linkage development between manufacturing industry andlogistics industry is the key point. Firstly, it analyses the current situation of ourmanufacturing industry and logistics industry and summary two main patterns of thelinkage development between these two industry, and gets the result that twopatterns produce two kinds of power to support the demand from our manufacturingindustry Secondly, it compares the direct consumption coefficient of five differentcountries (USA, Britain, Brazil, Japan,China). The result shows that the reliabilitybetween our logistics industry and manufacturing industry stronger than the logisticsand the services, which just in contrast with USA, Britain and Japan. What’s more,we learned that the linkage development between chemical manufacturing industryand logistics industry are more intense than other sub-industries. Then it analyses thedevelopment trend of this five different countries, and gets the result that the demand of logistics will change from the manufacturing to the services. It means a strongdemand on the services from the logistics is a key point to be a healthy linkagedevelopment. Thirdly, by doing granger causality test to our manufacturing industryand logistics industry, it finds that the linkage development between manufacturingindustry and logistics sinks into a asymmetric state. The manufacturing can not pushthe logistics powerfully. In this part, it also compares the direct consumptioncoefficient of our30provinces,.According the result,we know that provinces, ofwhich the industrial level ranks the third in our whole country, have to input moreoutputs from their logistics for meeting the demand from their manufacturing thanother provinces rank the first or the second. And the result also tells us that theprovinces of shanghai, Beijing, Jiangsu, Tianjin and Neimenggu show a morehealthy linkage development. On the contrary, the provinces of Guangdong,Zhejiang, Shandong,Liaoning and Fujian shows a poor linkage development...
