Education Toys play a role of abecedarian and playmate in the process of children’s growth. Combining Education Toys with toys and educational functions is a significant trend of contemporary design of education toys. In ancient China, the design of toys have already had a function of inspiring wisdom, developing intelligence and stimulating creativity, for instance, Tan gram, Nine rings, Chinese Sliding-Block, Weiqi and Chinese chess and so on. Department Approval of Colorful Fine Finger word, the first set of Children’s literacy game, was printed recently, which opened the path of combining the design of Chinese modern toys with education. The rapid development of modern science and technology and the deepening of the educational philosophy offer a platform of the creative design of education toys. The development of toys and education toys becomes multifunctional. The success of classical brand of toys in foreign country, such as Transformers and Barbie, evoked a intense reflection in the field of Chinese toy industry and education sector. Nowadays, the practical use of teaching aids in Chinese education is more and more frequent. In modern society, education toys are referenced to practical Chinese children’s education more and more frequently. For example, Lego Ministry of Education takes full advantage of the Lego Intelligent Constructing Course, Montessori Education Law and Montessori Teaching Aids in Chinese Nursery schools. At this point, the design of education toys start to combine Chinese toys with education functions.The Narration of this essay has a logical order of "The design analysis and innovative inspiration——the principle of education toy’s design based on multiple intelligence and the theory of constructivism——the intelligent innovative design philosophy and practical use of the design of education toys". According to the education theory and contemporary situation of the design of Chinese education toys, this essay proposed the intelligent constructive theory of design. The theory refers to the combination of circulation, combination, reconstruction, construction, inspiration, which formed the multiple open structures by investigating in those objects which have different shapes, colors, material qualities and formation. The design theory puts emphasizes on arousing the children’s interest of study, developing the children’s ability of Do-It-yourself and being of educational significance. From the present stage which plays a significant role in the teaching of kindergarten and produces problems, it necessary to analysis and research in the designs of classical education toys, to meet children’s needs and development, to pursuit the design exploration of education toys, which is of humanization, of education, of science and of development.
