In China’s CNC machine tool industry, CNC flame cutting as a commonly used cuttingequipment for cutting, domestic enterprises in great demand. Since the presence of NC systemis not yet fully independent development, and system closed other reasons. Current CNCflame cutting machines generally expensive and difficult to upgrade the system. So the facefor many small and medium enterprises, to design a reliable economical CNC flame cuttingmachine has a large market demand.Combined CNC flame machining principle and processing Factors influencing accuracyof the work piece as a reference to design a motion control card based on Open CNC flamecutting machines. First, through the analysis and workpiece machining principle factorsaffecting the quality, mading flame cutting machine design requirements. Then the designrequirements for CNC flame cutting machines, made general scheme of the system, and thecorresponding control strategy, namely IPC+motion control card of the open-loop mode. Webuild a control strategy based control system and select the appropriate hardware.
