Outdoor furniture design is a design practice which cooperated with Hangzhou China ArtsIndustrial Co., Ltd. This design report is the summary of the whole practice projects and designwork. In the early stage of the project, firstly, we do a research on the development status ofoutdoor products and outdoor recreation industry. After that, we have a more comprehensiveunderstanding of the industry. And then, we conducted an investigation of the company, andrecognized the advantages of its production and sales. Secondly, after determining the targetmarket and design direction, we analyzed the consumer trends and design trends throughliterature. Found the design entry point is the green, ecology and personalized experience. Thishelped us to determine the design theme. In the implementation of the process, we use sketchand modeling to exploration the product. To deepen the topic we use extraction and sketches byelemental explore. In processing stage, we search the problems may face in processing, andsolved them one by one. Finally, completed the whole process, and made a summary.
