In the development process of human civilization has been accompanied by the useof marine resources, but the problems of bio-fouling attendant.Currently the best way to prevent bio-fouling was painting coatings, the use ofantifouling paint antifouling agent releases the sea creature to kill, to antifouling effect.The characteristics of low toxicity makes cuprous oxide become the only antifoulingagent which was still used.In this paper, the preparation of a Cu2O/AA hybrid resin and coating of copper ionsin the release was studied, first preparing cuprous oxide sol is prepared, and thenprepared cuprous oxide sol is coated with oleic acid, finally using solutionpolymerization, the coated sol and acrylate monomer polymerization to form thepolyacrylate hybrid resin, such as cuprous oxide sol one of the chemical bond and resinsystem is connected, through, rather than adding to packing split form. It not only caneffectively control the release of copper ions, but also can greatly reduce the amount ofcuprous oxide.Preparation process of cuprous oxide sol experiment confirms the cuprous oxidesol, the synthesis temperature is40℃, XRD spectra showed that the sol materialcuprous oxide. Preparation process of cuprous oxide sol is coated with oleic acid weredetermined, FT-IR spectra indicate, at60℃, oleic acid formed chemical coating ofcuprous oxide, cuprous oxide concentration is solved easily aggregation problem, so thestability of cuprous oxide sol system improvement.Preparation process of Cu2O/AA hybrid resin is determined by experiment. Themonomer ratio of MMA:BA:AA=11.5:5.94:0.65, reaction temperature80℃, theamount of Cu2O is determined as1%resin.The hybrid resins and coatings were characterized and tested. FT-IR spectra showthat, Cu2O and acrylic resin formed between chemistry and key effective; XPS spectrashow that the hybrid resin in the copper is Cu2O; TG spectra indicate, strong thermalstability of hybrid resin to acrylic resin. Tafel curve showed that, the increase of thecontent of Cu2O is helpful to improve the corrosion resistance of coating. Byelectrochemical method was used to test the ability of copper ion release, the resultsshowed that the coating, concentration of copper ion in seawater can be stabilized in2.49×10-11mol/L.
