With modern machinery, hydraulic, pneumatic and photoelectric technologyapplied on the clothing equipment, the function and efficiency, intelligent of sewing equipment have greatly improved. As the world’s largest country in the sewingmachine production, facing a variety of clothing equipment of shirt in domestic, butnot involve the automatic sewing equipment for the shirt sleeve slits, this conditionrestricts the development of our country special clothing equipment seriously. Eachprocess of traditional shirt sleeve slits production dispersed in multiple shops, thiswaste a great deal of manpower and material resources. Sewing process mainly relyon works’ manual operation. It has high proficiency requirements for workers andsewing efficiency is low, hard to ensure accuracy. Based on the advanced sewingtechnology at home and abroad, this paper study and analysis shirt sleeve slits sewingprocess, put forward the integration process automatic sewing principle, designmechanism applicable to automatic sewing shirt sleeve slits. Thus research outprocess integration shirt sleeve slits sewing equipment has the characteristics of highefficiency, precision and automation. The main research work and innovation relevantto the paper can be listed as following:Firstly, this paper analysis the traditional sewing process of shirt sleeve slits andthe integration process automatic sewing principle, designs and analysis the mainmovement, provides the theoretical basis for the shirt automatic sewing equipmentresearch.Secondly, the paper innovates the existing folding and feeding machine,analysis automatic folding, automatic feeding mechanism motion in the key workingprocedure of shirt sleeve slits, designs the transmission scheme and establishes themodel of main motion, calculates the motion parameters, thus determining thestructure of the mechanism, provides theoretical basis for the design and improvementof automatic folding mechanism, automatic feeding mechanism.Thirdly, by combine the automatic sewing process of the shirt sleeve slits, paperanalysis and designs the automatic pressure mechanism, automatic sewing mechanismand automatic outing mechanism, further perfects the automatic sewing mechanism ofshirt sleeve slits, carries on the virtual prototype and the motion simulation of theprocess integration shirt sleeve slits sewing equipment, thus designs the shirt sleeveslits automatic sewing system based on the movement pattern of folding, feeding and outing.Finally, this paper summarizes the whole investigation for the automatic sewingmechanism of shirt sleeve slits. Additionally, the next phase for the further researchhas been discussed.
