Large marine diesel engines with CNC honing machine is one of the important equipment manufacturing equipment,high-end CNC honing machine,to improve the machining precision and efficiency of large-scale high-precision honing machine has far-reaching significance.Honing honing machine as a tool components,its structure and the weight has a direct impact on the performance and characteristics of honing machine,precision honing,can effectively shorten the engine’s running-time,reduce energy consumption, reduce emissions and improve equipment reliability.Large honing head bulky,quality, especially when the vertical reciprocating movement of the reversing speed,the weight of the honing head inertia and commutation honing severely affected, therefore,weight reduction is an important part of the design optimization of the honing head.Therefore,this paper based on the analysis honing head structure,the performance characteristics of large marine diesel engine designed to take lightweight honing honing head can improve the performance of large honing head and honing quality.Diameter double-precision (?)450mm feed honing head for the study,a preliminary study lightweight structure,the main tasks include:1) create large honing head through Pro/E software and ANSYS finite element analysis software model and calculate the various components and the overall structure of proportion.2) static analysis model honing head to the main processing part load steady load, drawn mainly static performance analysis results and trends with stable load.3) In the dual-feed honing head and the main part of the force constraints based on the analysis to determine the focus of lightweight design.The main parts of the body and then grinding,coarse honing Whetstone seat,lightweight design pyramidal conduct comparative analysis to calculate the optimized structure,given optimization program, and draw double-feed honing lightweight structure.4) static analysis to optimize the overall model were obtained before and after the modal analysis,the vibration displacement maps for each frequency,and honing the overall structure were compared before and after optimization,while ensuring rigidity and strength of honing head based on the quality of the honing head effectively reduced,reducing the inertia of the lightweight authentication feasibility.Research results excess material removal honing it possible to ensure the stability of processing,while reducing processing costs.
