With the market competition intensified, customers’ personalized requirements havebecome obviously increasing and they have not been satisfied with purchasing standardproducts form market. The phenomenon happened, such as production diversity,unpredictability, and manufacturing change. The planning and management of traditionalrigid production are facing serious challenges. Therefore, in order to meet the customers’demands, with the costs and speed of the mass production increasing, to providecustomization designed products and services to the customer, mass customization modeappears. It requires that the manufacturing system of the enterprise have enoughflexibility to respond to the unpredictable market changing rapidly.The production planning is the major content of production and management inmany manufacturing enterprises. Whether production system is smooth and capacityplanning is reasonable, it is directly reflecting the rationality of the production planning.Therefore, under the mass customization mode, the research of flexible productionplanning is the important researched element to win in the competitions of enterprise. Inorder to solve the competition problems effectively, it is necessary to use new methodsand ideas on the development of flexible production planning for research.Through the research, it is found that the major influencing factors of productionplanning of mass customization, which are product structure tree, equipment ability,delivery time and so on. The planning model of capacity of equipment is set up. And it isresearched that the method of equipment in the free time fully schedules, to receive thescheduling methods based on the delivery time and S-I equipment in free time. Accordingto parts order and constraint relation in the product structure tree, this task unitdecomposed layers model to support flexible production planning is put forward.Combining with PERT theory, the calculation method of the earliest delivery date of eachtask is provided, and a logic mapping model about the related properties of a task unitand resources is established. Finally, the forward direction recursive production planningmodel of interchangeable part and a reverse recursive production planning model ofcustom part based on delivery are established, and meanwhile, the treatment method todeal with the contract change is put forward.The models and methods will provide a theoretical reference for realizing thereasonable decomposition of the production task and reasonable planning of theprocessing equipment, increasing the utilization ratio of equipment, improving theproduction planning flexible and controllable, and improving the ability with whichenterprises can response to the market changes.
