Transmission acts as the important assembly of vehicle, which has a great leverage on the entire performance of vehicle. In order to maintain the performance of transmission, it is necessary to develop corresponding test bench to test it and analyze the data we acquire, then figure out the flaws existing in our product design and producing procedure. We are able to enhance the production performance by doing things below, like optimizing design parameter and ameliorate producing procedure.At present, mini cars mainly configure mechanical transmission, to this end, the development of corresponding performance test bench of mechanical transmission is of great significance.This paper taken N109 project shifting performance improvement as background which belongs to school and enterprise cooperation project undertook by tutor, and developed mechanical transmission performance test bench of micro car as the goal. Firstly, this paper analyzed the structure and working principle of mechanical transmission, based on mechanics model of shifting process, the influencing factors of shifting performance were analyzed, according to the feedback problem from the driver in the actual use and the industry testing standard, combined with the requirements of the cooperative enterprise, this paper determined the scheme of the test bench, mainly including overall layout of the structure scheme, control system scheme, the main power device driving scheme, automatic shifting scheme and inertia simulation scheme of the test bench. Secondly, according to the draft above, test parameters were determined by using the parameters of vehicle, the hardware system of the test bench was designed, mainly including the selection and design of power unit and control system hardware, the design of related mechanical testing part. In order to improve the precision and consistency of the test results, the key technology of the test bench was studied, mainly including anti-interference technology of the test bench, implementation of realize the pressure loading during cable efficiency test, dynamic process control technology, and the above key technology was applied in the test bench, the practice proved that the application of the above key technology could work well as we expected. Then the measurement and control system software of the test bench was designed, in allusion to the leakage and repeated acquisition problem was easy to appear during the data collection process, through the use of producer-consumer cycle in the data acquisition program based on queue, the above problem was solved. At last, in order to test the test bench whether reached the expected target, based on the test bench, this paper selected the samples provided by the company, according to relevant test specification, the shift performance test and cable efficiency test was implemented on the prototype, and analyzed the test results. This paper put forward a new shift performance evaluation criteria based on ergonomics, and evaluated the shifting performance of the prototype.The results showed that the test bench could complete the test task better. The research work provides a reference for the development of transmission performance test bench, especially the shift performance evaluation criteria proposed based on ergonomics and the research on anti interference technology of test bench have certain reference significance to related research.
