The energy problem is a fundamental problem that impede social development and economicdevelopment. In all kinds of energy consumption, the building energy consumption is one of themajor part. With the increase in civil building number and improvement of people’s quality of life,the building energy consumption will continue to rise. Therefore, the conservation of buildingenergy has very important effect on solving the severe energy problems..The paper completes the data collection and research of the building energy saving status andcharacteristics at home and abroad through literature survey by use of the network and library. TheXinao system energy efficiency theory and ubiquitous energy network(U-network) technology areelaborated by system analysis method. The technical practice of U-network–the energy saving of alarge comprehensive building is analysed and verified by empirical analysis based on the theoreticalresearch and practical application. And finally the results of the energy saving of the largecomprehensive building are summarized and evaluated by the data analysis method. The innovationpoints of this paper are mainly based on the Xinao system energy efficiency theory and technology.During the energy saving process of a large comprehensive building, by application of theXinao system energy efficiency platform, based on the system energy efficiency theory and thefour-stage energy loop optimization technology, the modern computer technology, systemoptimization technology, frequency conversion technology and system integration technology areintegrated to solve the problems caused by the shortage of the traditional control strategy, such asphase lag with load change, low efficiency of group control, insensitive to the change of energyprice, false plan of energy storage, and achieve the goals like safe energy supply, low emission ofpollution and high system energy efficiency. In addition, a complementary energy utilization systemis designed, by the application of system energy efficiency technology, to make good use of the lowgrade energy, to enhance the grad of the low grade energy, and finally to increase the total systemenergy efficiency of the entire energy system.
