So, it is pressing and necessary to research indepth on all aspects of the public rental housing to make it more standardization. Thethesis choses the commercial facility of public rental housing community in Chongqingas the research subject, which is a part of the topic"research on the design of publicrental housing community in Chongqing ".First, starting from the relevant theory of commercial facilities in residential area,summarize the related standards and research results of the theory in the scale ofcommercial facility, planning layout, composition of types, architect design of space.These provide theory support for survey of commercial facilities in public rentalhousing and comparative analysis, and put forward the main influence factors ofresidential commercial facilities, which is scale of resident, mode of resident, trafficimpact and consumer groups.As a special residential area, the public rental housing has the character of largescale and suburbs of the city, besides most of them nearby the rail transit, which hasdirect influence to the scale and planning layout of commercial facility. Being theprimary consumer groups in the public rental housing, the mixed residential mode andlow consumption ability of "sandwiched class" decides the composition of types andarchitect design space of commercial facility. And through data collection and questionnaires, analysis and summarized the current situation and problems ofcommercial facility of Chongqing public rental housing area: commercial facilities arenot enough to satisfy the needs of the residents; function of commercial project lack ofplanning; consumption level of commercial projects position improper; types ofcommercial building is single.In the analysis process, consults the operation of commercial facility and theconsumption condition of consumer groups in ordinary resident, and proposes proposalson the design and development of commercial facility, around the above four aspects inpublic housing.
