| Since 2010,the state issued the document on the construction of public rental housing,Chongqing municipal government has vigorously carried out the construction of public rental housing,with the layout of about 4000 hm2 of public rental housing between the first ring road and the second ring road in the main urban area of Chongqing.Chongqing public rental housing community is a typical high-density community with large population base and high construction density.With the acceleration of urbanization,in the high-density residential environment where the public space in the community is constantly compressed,children,as a group of people with high frequency of using public space in the community,their demand for outdoor activities has been ignored again and again.With the opening of the two-child policy,the number of children is increasing year by year,and the contradiction between children’s demand for outdoor activities and lack of space is becoming increasingly acute.After the United Nations initiated the initiative of building "child friendly cities" in 1996,some cities in China put forward "child friendly communities" by combining child friendly construction with community governance according to their national conditions.Therefore,in the environment of high-density residential and children’s outdoor activities demand is not paid attention to,how to build children friendly community in public rental housing community is a research topic.This paper studies and summarizes the theory of Children Friendly City(community)at home and abroad,and puts forward that community space friendship is the cornerstone of the construction of city and community children friendly work,and space friendship should include two aspects: quantity friendly and quality friendly.This paper takes the public space of public rental housing community in the main urban area of Chongqing as the research object.Through comparative analysis,field survey,observation record,questionnaire survey and other methods,this paper investigates the construction status of public rental housing community in the main urban area of Chongqing,the needs of children,the characteristics of internal space and the use of children,This paper summarizes the problems in the quantity and quality of children’s activity space in the public rental housing community in the main urban area of Chongqing,and finally puts forward the transformation strategies and methods of children’s activity space in the public rental housing community,so as to play a positive guiding role in the practice of children’s activity space construction in the public rental housing community in the future.The main research contents and conclusions are as followsFirst of all,through statistical analysis and other methods,the construction status and environmental conditions of 21 public rental housing communities in the main urban area of Chongqing were investigated.According to the environmental conditions of the community,14 public rental housing communities that need all the internal space of the community to meet the needs of children’s activities were classified Questionnaire interview and other methods were used to investigate the internal space and children’s activity needs of 14 public rental housing communities to explore whether there is enough space in public rental housing communities to meet the needs of children’s activities.Secondly,two of the 14 public rental housing communities with the most typical characteristics are selected to investigate and analyze the children friendliness of public space between groups and within groups.The public space between groups is divided into street space,commercial space and public green space,while the public space within groups is divided into exclusive children’s activity space Attached children’s activity space and alternative children’s activity space.Thirdly,the survey results are summarized: in terms of the current situation and demand survey,the number and scale of public rental housing construction in Chongqing are large,the population is large,the community density is high,and there are many children.Most of the external environment of the community has no park or movable green space,so the public space inside the community needs to bear all the pressure of activities.However,the construction of children’s activity venues in public rental housing communities is seriously insufficient,and the number of space is not balanced with children’s activity demand,so children and their guardians will look for some "alternative space" for activities.In terms of space quality and utilization,there is a lack of children’s playground among groups,and the demand for children is ignored seriously;Parking,vendors and other non-standard,resulting in street congestion;Poor management and space quality,serious street safety hazards;Campus closed management,resulting in a waste of effective space resources;Children’s willingness to participate in group activities is strong,and public green space plays an important role.The exclusive children’s activity space in the group has poor site design and use,and serious security risks;The activity function is single and the game facilities are insufficient;The game facilities are childish and children’s needs are not met;The supporting facilities are not enough and the comfort of the site is not high;The plant disposition is monotonous,and the space naturalness is poor;The friendliness of the venue to children is poor.There are many types of venues in the attached children’s activity space,and the needs of adults are dominant;There are some potential safety hazards in the site;The site design and configuration is low,and the activity space is monotonous and boring;The function of the site is not complex and the interaction is poor;The vehicles stop and put randomly,and the activity space is occupied seriously;The friendliness of the venue to children is low.The potential safety hazard of alternative children’s activity space is serious;Lack of consideration for children,the venue is not friendly.Finally,based on the transformation strategies and methods obtained from the research of public space in public rental housing community,taking Kangju Xicheng public rental housing community as an example,this paper carries out the design practice,and uses the children friendly community theory to rectify and optimize the public space. |
