With the continuous development of automobile industry, the competition ofautomobile market is intensifying. In order to improve the comprehensive performanceof automotive product, each automobile corporation constantly increases the potency ofdevelopment for upgrading automotive product. During the design and developmentprocess of automotive product, the use of CAE technology can not only reduce the trialfrequency of sample product and the cost in process of production, but also shorten thedevelopment cycle effectively and improve design efficiency.In order to achieve the increasingly stringent performance standards of automotiveproduct, now the need of CAE analysis for the types and quantities of components, thekinds of simulation analysis have greatly increased than before, thus vast amounts ofCAE analysis information are produced. These vast amounts of data are from differentsimulation systems, they are heterogeneity with each other and existing in isolation.Therefore, the information isolated island is formed between different systems, and themanagement of CAE data becomes more difficult. This phenomenon hinders the validutilization of CAE data in the design and development process of automotive product,thus the needs of integrated management for CAE analysis data are proposed. Currently,many enterprises achieve the management of CAE analysis results through theimplementation of PDM, however, it is difficult to organize and control the CAEanalysis process. For the comprehensive management of CAE analysis data and workprocess, we can develop SDM system to realize integrated management ofheterogeneous CAE data from different systems.Firstly, this article introduced the typical development process of automotiveproduct, and pointed out the important position and role of SDM system in the wholedevelopment process. Combined with the actual demand of enterprises, the frameworkof SDM system had been built, the reuse method and process management solution ofCAE data were discussed. Depending on the tectonic characteristics and the simulationtype of automotive product, a two-dimensional data gradation structure was establishedto organize product objects. Visual Studio.NET was used as the development platform,and data visualization was achieved in the environment of DirectX, the SQL Server2008database was used to store CAE data.According to the characteristics of CAE data for automotive product, a reasonable CAE data storage model was built, so that heterogeneous data from different systemscan be stored and expressed in the same way in database. The structured method ofCAE data was discussed, and the record way of NASTRAN and ANSYS software forsimulation information was studied, CAE data can be structured through file parsingand means of secondary development. The visualization technology of CAE data wasstudied, and the showing method of3D model, boundary conditions and simulationresults was discussed. In the environment of DirectX, the mapping principles of surfacegrid and solid grid were discussed, and the display rules of constraint conditions andloads were studied. At the same time, the emerging methods of multicolour cloudpicture and simulation animation were inquiried. The managing way of analysis processfor simulation system was researched, and the management model based on node wasused to control the transmission process of CAE data. In order to ensure the safety ofCAE database, the RBAC model was used to design roles and assign permissions, sothat the CAE analysis process can be controlled and managed.This article can effectively solve the problem of information isolated islandbetween different simulation systems, and realize integrated management of CAE datafor automotive product. The successful development of SDM system can not onlyeffectively reuse the CAE data, but also control the CAE process reasonablely, thus theefficiency and quality of CAE analysis was greatly improved. At the same time, thisarticle laid a foundation for the subsequent development of product lifecyclemanagement system, and made it possible for the integration of PDM, SDM and TDMsystem, so that it has important research significance and engineering value.
