With the rapid development of our economy and the city modernization constructionlevel, automobile population also rises fleetly. Against with the rapid increment ofpreservation, the parking planning is relatively delayed. Parking problems in cities becomeurgent problems to be solved. At present, the contradiction of parking difficulty mainlyembodied in residence area, business district, office building. How to reasonably use thevaluable land resources, and develop a fast, convenient, efficient and economic parkingequipment to ease parking problem is this topic research background. While the traditionalplane parking is still in the first place, it takes a lot of valuable land resources, but can’t meetthe needs of modern automation machinery. Three-Dimensional Garage has more advantagesthan the traditional, covering less of area, more convenient for parking, higher efficiency andlower cost and so on.In order to ensure the use of garage performance, stable and reliable monitoring andmanagement system is indispensable. VB.NET2008is a powerful, simple, and visuallanguage,which designed for the type–safe, performance dependable, powerful, completelyobject-oriented application. Based on the study of the garage, the VB.NET2008is used fordesigning the garage’s remote monitoring and management system. Firstly, the domestic andforeign dynamic of three-dimensional garage, the research status of three-dimensional garageand the background, purpose and significance of the research have been briefly introduced.Secondly, the principle and workflow of the parking equipment has been introduced at first.Then, according to the actual requirements of the remote monitoring and management system,the overall scheme of the system has been detailed designed, the scheme is mainly around theins and outs of vehicles of the work process and the corresponding data access as a line todesign. Third, according to the requirements of the system selected the system developmenttools. The tools include the development language and database. Four, this system usesmodular design concept completed the software design. The main function module hasoperator management module, user management module, parking management module,communication module, system log module, video acquisition module and help module, etc.Five, in order to ensure stable and reliable operations of the system, the reliability of thesystem measures were analyzed. After the commissioning the system has been refined.In this thesis, the remote monitoring and management system developed for the lowcost, open mechanical three-dimensional garage has the characteristic of high real-time andopenness. And it’s satisfies the needs of system requirement. The system can not onlysimplifies the communication between the upper machine and the lower machine, but alsoconfigures vividly man-machine interface, which helps reduce the equipment’s use cost and maintenance cost.Only in this way can the safety and reliability of the system be ensured.,and the utilization of parking space be improved. So this system is worth studying andresearching.
