In mid-September,2012, the CPC central committee held a seminar of leading cadres atthe provincial or ministerial level again, the theme of which is to carry out the process ofurbanization. As a grand strategy in the process of modernization, the new-style urbanizationis the greatest potential for stimulating domestic demand in China, which puts forward newdevelopment requirements for the construction of the perfect integration of urban and ruralpublic transportation. Due to development needs of the society, this paper analyzes theconstruction problem of the integration of urban and rural public transportation.The integration of urban and rural public transportation in this paper is put forward toadapt to the urbanization. At first, this paper expounds the present situation and trend of ruralroads in our country, analyses the intension and definition of the integration of urban and ruralpublic transportation on the basis its development at home and abroad, and obtains the timeand space distribution of urban and rural passenger flow.Aiming at the problem of insufficient number of urban and rural bus depot construction,this paper expounds the classification and function of the transit stations and sets reasonableconstruction of basic reasonable construction according to design requirements and the mainfacility layout of halfway station, hub station, terminal station, parking place and maintainfactory.This paper analyzes the characteristics of village and town’s station system, gives itsconstruction and operation mode, sets up the model for determining the station size, andconfirms the station size according to the economy, population, education, travel and otherindexes. The over many indexes may influence the accuracy of the evaluation, so this paperfirstly uses principal component analysis to calculate the eigenvalues and contribution of eachtowns and determines the main indexes which affect the station size, then applies analysishierarchy process to calculate the weights of each town, and obtains the proportion of eachtowns at last.This paper analyzes the existing problems of passenger transport in town, improves theoperation mode and equipment to accelerate the development progress of the integration ofurban and rural public transportation, and applies unified operation mode to put in differentmodels reasonably according to line grade. Aiming at the problem in taking buses for studentsin town, commuter buses for students are provided to make it easy and safe for students to goto students.This paper offers approaches for the integration of urban and rural public transportationin the aspects of revenue, ticket price, finance, and rules, and sums up efficient safeguardmeasures. Finally, taking WW city as an example, this paper calculates and analyzes the operationsto determine the size of the bus.
