A Study On Rural Bus Planning Under The Orientation Of Balancing Urban And Rural Development

With the rapid development of economy, the government vigorously promotes the progress of urbanization, economic and cultural exchanges between urban and rural area have become more frequent, which also makes people’s travel demand increased gradually. But due to the different Passenger transport modes of city and country, there are obvious distinctions in operation management and mode compared with urban public transportation; while In urban public transport planning analysis and research on urban passenger transport system of urban fringe and center are ignored.This article puts forward the urgency and necessity of the implementation of the integration of urban and rural public transportation by the analysis and research on the urban and rural public transport, and based on those above, it discusses the ideas and the methods of implementation of the urban and rural public transportation integration, which solved the difficult problem of passenger transportation in the process of overall urban and rural development and realized the coordinated development in urban and rural economy, society, life and other aspects.Based on the analysis of the development of China’s urban and rural development and urban and rural public transportation condition, this article puts forward that the coordinated development of urban and rural areas should be on the premise of the implementation of the integration of urban and rural public transportation.Then, it analyzes and researches public transportation facilities under coordinated development of urban and rural areas, and discusses the integration of urban and rural public transportation planning in urban and rural public transport station, public transport vehicles, line set and other various aspects.Next, the article discusses the mechanism of rural passenger transportation leading the development of rural areas and puts forward the community development model of rural settlements built around rural transit site, drawing lessons from TOD (transit-oriented development, TOD) theory.At last it plans the implementation scheme of the integration of urban and rural public transportation in Shunqing district of Nanchong applying TOD developing mode.
