The large-scale integration of renew energy brings new challenges to traditional dispatching automation system power grid, which currently mainly monitor the operating conditions of renew energy booster station, but they lack effective means of control for renew energy. With the large-scale development of renew energy, the control issues of renew energy connecting to power grid have become one of the technical bottlenecks that restrict the development of new energy. The development and construction of the renew energy management system make it possible for power grid dispatch center to add new energy to the energy management system for monitoring and dispatching, which is vitally significant to ensure the secure, stable and economic operation of power system. The solution to the construction of the renew energy management system is proposed in this paper, also, the functions and key technologies that power station side system should have are studied, moreover, the debug applications of power station side system in photovoltaic power plants and wind farms are finished. The main research work is as follows:On the basis of studying the structural characteristics of dispatch automation system, the functions that should be achieved by the renew energy management system are pit forward in this paper, also, the hardware and software methods as well as topology which realize the functions of the system are designed.In this paper, through the investigation of the structures and functions of renew energy predicting system, the application of the software in a wind farm is shown. For short-term power prediction, the Wavelet-BP neural network method based on numerical whether forecast is proposed, which is proved helpful in improving the prediction accuracy by experiments.In this paper, the structures and functions of renew energy automatic generation control system and automatic voltage control system are discussed. By considering the characteristics of renew energy, the cycle average algorithm based on assigning by capacity for active power control is proposed, and the adaptive dynamic identification method for the measurement of system impedance in voltage control is put forward.In the end of paper, the programs of AGC and AVC system software are designed, by installing and debugging the exploited supporting system in an actual PV plant, the results show that the system runs well, meeting the requirements for system functions of dispatch.
