| In the recent20years, the highway construction in our country is developing fast and its scale is rapidly growing. As we all know, it will continue to expand in the future year. So researching on use efficiency and influence factors of highway land construction of our country can be used for providing theoretical guidance for Land sector to organize.Firstly, this paper concludes the definition of road construction efficiency by studying the classification and characteristics of highway construction. Secondly, Depending on above information and according to the existed algorithm of road land, this paper calculates the area of highway construction land of31provinces and3earths belt, and concludes the features of highway construction land. Lastly, on the basis of current situation of highway land, this paper evaluates the efficiency with per area passenger transport, freight ton-kilos and the total volume from2001to2010. And further analysis the temporal and spatial characteristics of highway construction land use efficiency. Finally, with the regional differences in road land use efficiency, this paper studies the influence factors of highway land use efficiency.Through the above research, the paper has the following main conclusions:(1) China’s highway land mainly exhibits three characteristics:Highway land accounts for a large proportion of the construction land; High-grade road land posses a low proportion of highway construction land; Highway land was significantly associated with the development of regional economic.(2)The use efficiency of highway land has shown a certain regularity. From unit area of passenger turnover and freight turnover or unit area of converted turnover, utilization efficiency of highway land shows increasing tendency in fluctuation. However, there still exists a rather large gap between China and these developed western countries. The highway land utilization of the east is the highest, followed by the central and western region. The highway land use efficiency and the growth rate are both higher in most eastern provinces, meanwhile the provincial differences vary considerably. From the view of spatial characteristics, There is a great difference in highway utilization efficiency between the three economic belts. The efficiency of eastern region is the highest, and significantly higher than other regions. The use efficiency of road land is overall row in2010. Only one-fourth provinces make full use of road land, and mainly provinces are excessive advancing.(3) The highway land utilization are mainly influenced by population density, Possession of civil vehicles, per area trade, industrial structure, per area GDP and the proportion of high-grade highway mileage by the Ridge regression analysis. Influence size in proper order degree is population density, possession of civil vehicles, per area GDP, the proportion of high-grade highway mileage, per area trade, industrial structure and road net density.On the basis of these foregoing discussions, this paper tries to give some suggestions:(1) our governments should strengthen the function of supervision and control the highway construction land scale;(2) we should increase the proportion of the high-grade road on the basis of’appropriately advanced development’;(3) accelerating the construction of road network, improving road network of underdeveloped regions, raising the road connectivity and coverage is to enhance the use efficiency or highway construction land. |
