Along with our country the development of economic construction, China has become the world’s first big car producers, also became the largest tire producer, from the beginning of2010to generate200million every year the scrap tire, these waste tires is due to industrial solid waste, oneself do not occur degradation, the mass storage is easy to spontaneous combustion and cause fire, on the environment caused great pollution, deal with these waste tires will become the world are faced with the problem. Every year in our country into huge manpower, material and financial resources for highway infrastructure, will waste tire processing into tire rubber powder, as a kind of asphalt modification agent used in road construction become the international recognized the most environmental protection, the best way to reuse.This research embarks from the raw material of rubber powder, and through the powder activated, in turn, improve the overall performance of the rubber asphalt, thus improve the overall performance of rubber asphalt mixture. The researches on the mechanism of the main contents include:powder activated; The activation of rubber powder; Activation of rubber powder modified asphalt performance test; Asphalt mixture of the mixture ratio design; Rubber powder modified asphalt mixture performance study.This article use three activation way of waste tire rubber powder modified, briefly expounds the activation, modification mechanism, activation of rubber asphalt with different activation modes performance testing, and USES the penetration, softening point, ductility, rotational viscosity, elastic recovery and so on five indicators to evaluate the performance of asphalt.
