The load sensitive multi-way valve is the core hydraulic components of mechanicalmachinery which has characteristics of pressure compensation, flow compensation andtraffic inching. It can’t only improve the efficiency and stability of the system, but also canimprove the speed coordination of multiple institutions compound actions. With the rapidlydevelopment of the mechanical machinery industry in our country, the requirement ofconstruction machinery is higher and higher. The high-performance multi-way valve whichdeciding the performance of engineering mechanical is mainly depending on imports. So alarge amount of enterprises and institutions increase the design and development efforts ofthe load sensing multi-way valve. This paper is based on the load sensing multi-way valveresearch project that was organized by corporation in which we designed the structure of theload sensing multi-way valve and tested its performance through dynamic simulation.By analyzing the research and application of Load-sensitive multi-way valve at homeand abroad, in this paper we find the companies in domestic are more intend to using thetraditional multi-way valve and few of them choose to use Load-sensitive multi-way valvedeveloped independently. What’s more, the Load-sensitive multi-way valve which made inChina can’t fully compensate and does not have the anti-traffic saturation characteristics. Inorder to solve those problems we designed5HQFA25A type load-sensitive multi-way valvewhich can solve these problems, and analyze the pressure loss, leakage and commutationreliable performance of the valve, also, by using the hydrodynamic theory, the structuralparameters were optimized thus we design the triple U superposition valve port; dual-holetype structural was designed in order to improve the flow capacity of the pressurecompensation valve spool.At the same time, this paper implements Advanced Modeling and SimulationEnvironment for Systems Engineering software to build models for the load sensitivemulti-way valve system and traditional multi-way valve system. Through the simulation wefind that the speed of the implementing agencies in traditional multi-way valve is easilyaffected by the change of load, it has a great impact on composite action coordination. Theload sensitive multi-way valve system can solve those problems well. What’s more, whensimulating the two different load-sensing of system (confluence or non-confluence), we findthat the circuit flow will significantly reduce and the speed decline if pump flow is insufficient, and the confluence that has the anti-traffic saturation characteristics can solvethose problems.Finally, we did some related experimental work on load sensitive multi-way valve.
