The Research Of Land-use Efficiency Of Urban Spatial Expansion In Weinan

Urban spatial expansion is the prominent feature of urbanization. Rapidurbanization and agglomeration of the industrial capital demand enough urban space.However, in the rapidly expanding process, there are some problems, leading to lowland-use efficiency. Therefore, in the process of urbanization, how to effectively guideurban spatial expansion and improve the urban land-use efficiency, become the sameproblem in many cities.Based on the relevant theory of the urban spatial expansion and land-useefficiency, the paper establishes the evaluation system of land-use efficiency. TakingWeinan as an example, the author analyzes the main characteristics of urban spatialexpansion and evaluates the urban land-use efficiency by the objective data and somemathematical methods. In view of the analysis results, the suggestions about improvingthe urban land-use efficiency are presented. Research conclusions are as follows.（1）1994-2009, the main characteristics of urban spatial expansion can besummarized as follows. The spatial form is from centralized-block into enclave-group.Extension speed changes from rapid growth to stable growth. And from the land-usetypes,1994-2001, urban land growth has given priority to residential land and publicfacilities.2001-2009, industrial land and roads and squares growth are most obvious.（2）In terms of consumption, the paper makes objective judgmengt by usingurban land expanding population of elasticity and urban land expanding economicelasticity coefficient, and using the satisfaction of residents to supplement theefficiency evaluation. Generally, urban land expanding consumption of Weinan isrelatively reasonable. Future development should be self-sufficient in its ownadvantages to optimization and upgrading of industrial structure to promote land use efficiency, at the same time improve the supporting facilities of the groups to enhanceresidents’ life satisfaction.（3）In terms of urban land-use structure, according to the information entropyand equilibrium degree, land-use structure has been adjusted during15years. Althoughthe entropy and equilibrium degree are still relatively low, they are rising after2001.To show that land-use structure is in optimization and complication. Relativeefficiency evaluation of land-use structure based on DEA shows that land-use structureof Weinan is reasonable relative to its economy. It can effectively promote thedevelopment of local economy. The future development can improve its efficiencythrough micro adjustment of the land-use structure and upgrading of the industrialstructure.（4）In terms of the strength of land-use, all of them show ascendant trend fromthe longitudinal comparision of single index, but from the transverse comparision ofcomprehensive index, there is a big gap comparing with that in developed areas,because the added value of second and third industry and revenue per-Square KM areinsufficient, and urban comprehensive FAR is low.The future development shouldimprove the output of urban land, promote three-dimensional development, andimprove the land development intensity.（5）Comprehensive evaluation of the results shows that urban land-useefficiency does not reach the best state, but in good level, because the land-useintensity is low.
