As the first time for BeiJing to undertake such a significant event,2008BeiJing OlympicGames received the worldwide concerns.And beside acting as the main swimmingcompetition stadium during the Olympic Games, the National Aquatics Center also undertakethe role as a landmark in China during the session. Due to challenging and innovating designand terse schedule, the diffculity of the construction technique, organization and managementin the project are greatly high. How to utilize the theory and technique of the projectmanagement to accomplish the government’ task and reasonably organize construction are thekeys for reseaching.This thesis takes the National Aquatics Center Decorating Project as the research object.The paper briefly analyzes the current situation and tendency of the engineering managementand introduces relevant background of the the project. After that, the thesis analyzes thecontents and methods of the project management in detail in the following aspects includingorganization management, quality management, schedule management and the saftyproduction and green construction management. In the end, the paper summarizes thevaluable experience in the project and provides suggestions for the relevant problems. Inparticular, the thesis focuss on some innovating construction technique and process.Parts ofthese techniques are the first trials in China and obtain the patent. The experience in theconstruction process is greatly valuable and could act as technique guidance in the followingrelevant projects.
