Awareness of a project's status improves project-related decision-making on the part of owners, engineers, contractors, and other project stakeholders. Project Performance Indicators (PPI) are metrics generated by construction project schedules that define a project's status, a measurement of its progress and performance. This thesis describes the methods of extracting and analyzing PPI as well as scheduling specification language supporting the ability to contractually obtain PPI. To that end, a Project Status Report is developed to organize and display PPI to improve the results of construction project monitoring thus project success rates. |
