Teaching building as an important type of public buildings, has an important influenceon the social life, the research focuses on energy-saving design of teaching building in coldarea.This paper mainly discusses from the angle of the design problems of architecturaldesign teaching in cold area, and the optimum design.The author through to collect and arrange the design of teaching buildings beforeparticipation, comprehensive investigation and analysis, including questionnaire, interview,observation, thermal environment testing, summed up the main problems existing in theteaching building in cold area in winter cold, summer heat: the problem is not comfortable,analyzed the reason of the influence of these factors from the design professional angle.Based on this, this study pointed out that the energy-saving design strategy teachingbuilding in cold area, first from the shape coefficient, the plane layout of the form ofsunshine, ventilation control architecture; secondly, from the structure node wall heatpreservation measures, roof insulation and ventilation measures, thermal insulationmeasures outside the window, ensure that each design details are hot good environment.Finally, a design example--the third middle school in Huxian as the representative,the design strategy application, from the aspects of the layout, shape coefficient, ratio ofwindow to wall, wall, roof, door and window structure node design will involve more thanthe theory to be used.This paper through the investigation of the teaching building in cold area, find theexisting problems in teaching building design, and to find a solution, for the transformationof existing building, guide the architectural design.
