Research On Weapon Utilization Tutoring Simulation System Based On Knowledge Reasoning

With the rapid develop of military technology and weapons, the requirement forthe tutoring of weapon utilization becomes higher and higher. How to make innovationin the tutoring method so as to improve the teaching effect is the new challenge anddifficulty, which the weapon utilization tutoring has to face. To meet these demands, thispaper came up with the construction of weapon utilization tutoring simulation systembased on knowledge reasoning, with simulation technique applied in weapon utilizationtutoring, combining with expert system theory.Firstly, this paper focused on the representation of weapon utilization knowledge.According to the actual situation of wars and the experience and knowledge of humanexperts in this area, this paper obtained weapon utilization knowledge, madearrangement and classification, and further more turned them into expert systemknowledge. On the basis of current knowledge representation methods, this paperanalyzed the disadvantages of traditional production knowledge representation method.With object oriented theory combined, an object-oriented-based productionrepresentation method was put forward, and with this method the XML was used torealize weapon utilization knowledge representation. After these work, the weaponutilization expert system was designed and realized.Based on expert system, this paper finished the development of weapon utilizationtutoring simulation system through the design and realization of other modules. Thissystem has been used in the tutoring practice, and the result showed thatknowledge-reasoning-based weapon utilization tutoring simulation system could makestudents learn weapons directly via living weapon utilization environment andsimulation. What’s more, expert system could provide intelligent assistance for studentsduring weapon utilization, which improved the quality of tutoring obviously andobtained better effects.
