Airport is an important infrastructure of air transportation production, the apron is an importantplace where airport organizes production activities, the utilization of Apron resources affects theefficiency and quality of the service that airport provides. By now, the ground service delay has been aprime factor which gave rise to the flight delay.In this paper a medium-sized domestic hub airport was used as the prototype to research thevehicle scheduling problem. The main research work is as follows:First of all, the type and characteristics of the relative vehicles at airport are introduced, as wellas the actual method on vehicles distribution. Vehicle scheduling problem is a multi-objectivemulti-machine dynamic parallel job scheduling problem with time-window. Vehicle scheduling willchange with flight states (delay态cancel).The second, seven days of the flight schedule has been collected to analysis the airport flightdelay distribution, and the best window width has been calculated. According to the results of thisresearch, the flight dynamic schedule has established.The third, a simulation model of vehicle scheduling at airport is built by discrete event modelingmethod, then taking the airport ferry bus and tanker for examples, a visual simulation system ofvehicle scheduling was designed by using the simulation software SIMIO. The vehicle scheduling isdiscussed in the flight plan and flight delay two cases, based on this system, experiments are designedto evaluate the actual rule of vehicle scheduling and finds out the bottlenecks.Finally, this paper proposed a two-objective optimization based on reducing the differencebetween the working ability of the equipment and the minimum of number of the flight delays, anoptimization model is established according to the optimization goals. The simulation results verifythe effectiveness of the scheme, realize the optimization of vehicle deployment.
