As the requirement of automobile lightweight and safety is increasing, the currentcar aluminized rate is rising, It is also high that security, the wheel of the car under moreand more the mechanical performance requirements. Automotive wheel hub is animportant component in a safe in the process of car comfort, stability, security and so onall have important influence. In order to improve the strength of the aluminum alloywheel hub under the special purpose, more and more enterprises analytical investigationthe result of fatigue failure of wheel hub.Materials currently used car wheel hub is mainly that iron and steel materials, alloymaterials and composite materials. In this paper, analytical investigation the aluminumalloy wheel hub, first analysis the automobile wheel hub for the stress and the stress ofthe wheel load is determined. Build the finite element analysis model of aluminum alloywheel hub, this paper adopts the method of numerical simulation was carried out on theforce of the wheel hub by wheel, the stress distribution of cloud to find out the structureof the product defects and failure location.On the basis of the finite element analysis of car wheel hub bench test, mainlyincludes: the hub of the radial load rolling bending fatigue test and fatigue test, the wheelhub of impact test. With a standard is the American automobile association the SAEstandards on international and domestic standards GB/T15704-1995.Through the abovethree wheel test analysis and find out the causes of failure of wheel hub location. Finallyby comparing the results of finite element analysis and test of the results, it is found thatit can predict very well on the early stages of the design hub bench test results by finiteelement analysis method.
