With the deepening of China’s urbanization process, the importance of rail transportin urban development is becoming increasingly prominent. Automatic fare collectionsystem (AFC) as a core component of the urban rail transit system, are responsible forthe core content of the daily operations of the subway station, the reliability of thesystem is directly related to the operation and the safety of passengers of the subway.For the AFC system research focuses on the various subsystem devices, the lessinformation system transmission network as well as ticket information encoded.The combined knowledge of the AFC system the Tianjin Metro related equipmentdesign and the experience of the daily maintenance of the AFC system and their effecton the demand for communication networks, ticket information encoding andbusiness data flow the extraction and summary focuses on the existing fiber-opticnetwork in the event of a sudden failure cannot automatically recover, and anemergency communication network solutions, and programs related to testinglaboratories.Based on the information summarized and field testing of the device, resulting in aset of complete ticket information coding scheme and an AFC system emergencycommunications network design. The innovation of the paper is the3G networks andVirtual Private Network (VPN) technology combination, how to achieve thecompatibility of existing AFC equipment, encryption and transmission of data inInternet.
