A vehicular cyber-physical system (V-CPS) is a system of collaboratingcomputational elements controlling vehicles and is employed to improve road trafficsafety. Road accident and corresponding traffic congestion led series problems, such asroad safety risky, time waste and fuel consumption. In this paper, a biological model isused to explain interaction among vehicles, and furthermore, a road abnormal region(AR) evaluation method is proposed. The main contents are as follows:First, the architecture of V-CPS is introduced. Vehicle’s abnormal behavior withhuman factors and social factors is analyzed. The prototype model of abnormal behaviordiffusion, which be constructed based on Toxoplasma gondii’s (T. gondii) infection, isproposed. The basic theory for AR evaluation algorithm is presented.Second, considering both social and personal factors, the definition of ‘livingcreature’ is given to explain road vehicle’s factors. Moreover, the interaction amongroad vehicles is resembled as a parasites transmission procedure. A mathematical modelis used to illustrate AV behavior, in which the whole transmission process, including theinfection and the recovery progress, is presented.Third, to meet requirements of AV region evaluation, a clustering method based onvirtual leader and region features is proposed in this paper. Based on AV clusteringresults, a region hazard level evaluation criterion is given and corresponding recovertime prediction method is proposed either. At last, Matlab is used to analyze road traffic statistical data to select theparameters of AV diffusion model. Based on the selected parameters, a of themechanism model of abnormal vehicles and obtain suitable parameter values of thepresented model. The simulation results, simulations are done on the AnyLogic platformto display the performance of AV diffusion progress and AV clustering.
