In recent years,the government pay more attention to the flood control ofreservoir,because much loss caused by flood. Because of some reasons,Automationand information technology of the flood control of reservoir is poor. There isn’tprofessional and effective platform of monitoring, warning and decisions. The needs ofthe flood control of reservoir can’t be met well. In this case, Nanning flood control andweather monitoring and warning system of the reservoir is studyed and builded. Thesystem provides information which include reservoir information, reservoir water levelinformation, weather forecast, rainfall and meteorological warning information forgovernment. According to the Settings, The system can warning for reservoir risk andrainfall forecast early. It is an information platform which provides information andcommand reference.The main work of this thesis is analysis and design Nanning flood control andweather monitoring and warning system of the reservoir. Firstly, the project backgroundand significance has been introduced. The research status at home and abroad has beenstudied. The system design goal is determined. Then some related system developmenttechnology and some meteorological professional knowledge is introduced. The designof the System database and Eight function modules include reservoir informationmanagement, query of rainfall and reservoir water level, report of the the reservoirssituation, query of the CINRAD data, query of weather forecast, reservoir risk earlywarning, meteorological warning and system maintenance are mainly discussed. How toimplement the system main function and the system database is introduced. Finally, Thesystem test is introduced. The work done by this thesis is summarized. The next stepwork outlook is put forward..After completion of system development, system test case is very good. Thesystem runs stably. The project goals are met. Because of the system, working aboutreservoir information management is more efficient. Reservoir management departmentcan easily understand the information include the rainfall, the reservoir situation, theweather forecast, the CINRAD data and satellite cloud pictures.The system provides much timely and reliable information about the reservoir safty.It is an Information platform about monitoring and warning and decisions about theflood control of reservoir in Nanning.
