| With the coming of the economic knowledge times, more and more knowledge have been used in the EPC project, and the field is also more extensive. Because of the conflict of the culture and interests in the enterprise, the project team which combined with many units cannot share the knowledge effectively; it is lead to the dissipation and waste of the information. Therefore, it is a valuable research to realize the effectively sharing of knowledge in the EPC project, and we hope through the information sharing in the units which participated in the project to achieve the most value of the knowledge and information.This paper introduces knowledge management theory into EPC projects in terms of the design-based general contractor, in order to achieve knowledge sharing among participants as well as the various stages effectively. First, the paper defines knowledge, knowledge sharing and related concepts of EPC, analyses the knowledge characteristics and the meaning of knowledge sharing, and demonstrates the necessity and feasibility of introducing knowledge sharing to EPC projects. Second, it relates to knowledge sharing both between individuals and between organizations in the process of EPC projects. And then construct a security mechanism of knowledge sharing including knowledge sharing technologies, organizational structure system, culture sharing, incentive system and constraint system, so as to ensure knowledge sharing of EPC projects could be really effectively carried on. Finally, the author manage to build a knowledge sharing maturity model and evaluation index system on the base of capability maturity model, and recommend fuzzy comprehensive assessment in detail, then it is a example for Knowledge sharing evaluation system.This study complies with the internal demands of EPC projects construction; it’s an innovative application for knowledge management theory and makes much sense to the construction of large scale projects in high efficiency. |
