With the stable economic growth and modernization of buildings increasing in China, college student’s learning and life environment have made a lot of improvement, high-rise dormitories become the principal place of study and live to college student at ordinary times. High-rise dormitories have the characteristics of large personnel density, more fire hazards, etc. So it brings more potential safety hazards. In recent years, many high-rise apartment fire have occurred in our country, which cause heavy casualties and property losses. The high-rise building evacuation under the fire become more and more important. The author aimed at annual evacuation drills of high-rise apartment in anhuiuniversity of science and technology, by adopting the combination of questionnaires and field measurement methods. Through the field we collected the time in each stage of the evacuation and the number of people in each evacuation export. Obtain the main factors influencing the evacuation under the condition of fire.Simulated the scenes by using FDS+Evac software, established the standard layer model based on the social force model for studying in the required time and the available time. The individual characteristics, staff number, building structure and environmental factors can influence the required time, so the authorsettled kinds of evacuation scenes for studying the required time.Compaired and analyzed the drill data and simulation results, obtain the main factors influencing the evacuation, and the main reason about the gap between drill and simulation. Obtain the required time by simulating the evacuation for whole high-rise apartment. Results of the research provide reference and basis for the high-rise building fire evacuation and performance-based fire protection design.
