Research About "Universal" UI Pattern Design Method Based On Multi-platform Digital Reading Application

Digital terminals such as mobile phone, PC,TV and pad etc. have a deep impactinto people’ everyday life, and digital App become the communication bridge betweenpeople and device. Modified for senory experience of digital reading product becomethe core of improvement toward digital reading. Among there， multi-platformreading ’s UI design method is the biggest and most direct influence of digital r eadingapplication. While in temporary time,UI design of multi-platform reading still inunblossom period. That’s to say, designers adopt the traditional and single platformdesign and development process to the multi-platform product in the presentmulti-platform reading practice. Cause the exist difference in multi-platform andhardware,using this method neither high effectiveness nor does it ’s experience willarrive at consensus. The shortage of multi-platform turn into the bottleneck of readingexperience nowadays.This article aimed at reform multi-platform reading product, analysis temporarymain-stream design method and develop process of digital reading product.Combined with advanced single platform design flow and theory method, alongwith light and fast iteration design process intergrated into standard UI modeldesign means; Constructed multi-platform pattern of digital reading application basedon universal UI design method. What’s more, author’s internship real project BIPUser research reading multi-platform case in Tencent have an introducation andfinally proved the practice process and outcome of this method.Creativity points and characteristics of this research paper comes as followings:First, combined with light and fast iteration UI process and present advanced singleplatform relative theroy, along with describe and mainly discuss multi-platform withunified thinking UI design method,to have a positive effect for unified readingexperience among multi-platform; Secondly, Additionly, by describe themulti-platform’s advantages benefiting each other and elements that impact it, comeforward universal UI pattern design method to solve the shortages of traditionalmulti-platform. Additionly, proved with BIP User research reading platform designcase, finally showed this method can impact to multi-platform digital readingapplication. What also proved among multi-platform mainly guide it’s UI flow, butnot emphasize and limit designer ’s own express, eventually remain the characteristics of itself; Last but not least, have a prospect on this design flow and method can futhurdevelop into UI design assistance tools, provide for designers and developerstransform service in multi-platform. We can believe that along with commericalmodel implant in future, bring more market and research value.
