Double focusing mass spectrometer is the mass spectrometer which have functions on the focus of the direction and energy, it consists of a magnetic analyzer and an electrostatic field analyzer. Double focusing instrument with high resolution, large mass range, and bulky, can complete mass spectrometry analysis of organic macromolecules, and is widely used in organic Mass Spectrometry. This article is to double focusing mass spectrometer as a platform to raise the mass spectrometer using virtual instrumentation and control systems, design and implementation of a high degree of automation, with a friendly interface and control system of the mass spectrometer. The overall plan for the mass spectrometer measurement and control system were studied, including the ion source, ion deflection plates, magnetic detectors and associated electronic control unit circuit design, the use of IPC and NI PCI-6229acquisition board to LabVIEW platform build a PC interface and control system of the mass spectrometer ion source baking temperature control interface, low power control interface, field control interface, electronic control unit display interface detector data collection interface and high-voltage power supply control interface.Through the hardware and software systems integration as well as the stability of the output signal is related to the analysis, the results show that the system achieves the desired objectives. In addition, to improve the level of automation and mass spectrometer testing has friendly interface, etc., to prove the virtual instrument is an excellent solution has broad application prospects in measurement and control instrumentation systems.
