The Application Research Of Packaging Container Design Based On Kansei

In a consumption era, people focus more and more on the perceptual images of the packaging containers. They appreciate emotional and personalized affection, pursuing emotional recognition more than any time.The thesis, focusing on packaging container modeling, analyzes sensory cognitive process and sensory apperceive degree, on basis of such theories as Kansei engineering, cognitive psychology, design psychology, etc. Shape, color, and material, which are the most attainable part for the consumers, are considered as the perceptual factors in design. The packaging containers of different shapes, colors and materials, can bring about different Kansei images. The more differently these parts are combined, the more rich changes there will be. The article introduces application of Kansei engineering in other fields, summing up its usage in container modeling design. Meeting the needs of consumers and on basis of Kansei engineering, the packaging container modeling design can be more scientific and reasonable. The contribution Kansei engineering made to container modeling design is introduced as well.At first, the thesis introduces the research situation home and abroad, the purpose and significant of the study, and some related theories under the customer-centered background. Then the paper analyzes the perceptual factors in packing container modeling, taking Kansei engineering as its theoretical base. The following part introduces the application of Kansei engineering in product modeling design, summing up the methods and steps. Finally, the paper deals with the analytical breakdown of the body wash container modeling shapes.3D software tools are adopted in body wash container modeling design. Through the research, the thesis tries to explore new design ideas and people oriented design concept, and contribute to the development of related package designs in China.
