Electric power load management system is a system for the collection, processing and real-time monitoring of user’s electricity information, so that it can automatically complete the collection of electric information, the detection of measurement anomaly, the monitor of power quality, the analysis and management of power, the release of information, the monitor of distributed energy, the exchange of intelligent electrical equipment information and other functions. With the formation of a buyer’s market, the control functions of a load system are less used, but its data collection and management functions have become increasingly important,it has become the bridge of the communication between companies and users, to provide information services and technical support for the supply and demand sides of the power system.Firstly, the passage describe on distribution automation system, load management systems and electric energy information collection systems, based on the theory of them, the framework of power load management system and electric energy information collection system was proposed, and then gave a detailed description of the master section, the terminal portion and communication technologies, several different communication methods were compared. After the analysis of data acquisition system’s main features and technical parameters, the design of power load management system was proposed. The design of terminal system’s hardware and the application layer were completed. Give a detailed analysis of the functional structure of the system, and finally present the specific design and technical indicators of electric energy collection system through the example of an intelligent electric energy collection terminal.
