"organic renewal" thought proposed by pfofessor Liangyong Wu aimed at the contradictory of the tradition and modernity in the transformation of the old Beijing and there is a practical interpretation in JuEr Hutong’s design. Learning from this idea, we can explore the possible ways to protect and develop the Fangyu ancient villages in Jinan. And we can do a comprehensive study. While maintaining the original architectural style of Fangyu ancient villages, we can take the local culture of filial piety as the background and put forward a reasonable planning scheme, trying to create a village building design which can combine the modern exhibition hall with village folklore and art culture exhibition space so that we can take advantage of the unique resources in Fangyu villages and promote the protection and development of ancient villages.
