Research On Regenerative Conservation Of European World Heritage Cities

Europe is rich in world heritage and the number of its world heritage cities is among the first rank in the world. It has very rich experience and successful cases in the field of heritage conservation and regeneration, from administrative management and laws.rules to theory researching, programming methodology and technology means.However,our country is in the primary stage of world heritage conservation and regeneration This paper will provide measure and strategy promoting our country world heritage regenerative conservation,through the research on European world heritage cities integrated regenerative conservationFirst this paper describes the related constitute of world heritage conservation and regeneration, researches the development course and methodology of European heritage conservation. Then describes theories, analyzes detail cases, of France,Italy,Germany and Spain who take the lead in the field of world heritage cities conservation and regeneration,also some other European countries cases are included. Then, get the modern development pattern of major European countries in the field of world heritage cities regenerative conservation through related theories and case analysis from above.New building’s intervention can be classified into group intervention which is harmonization oriented and single intervention which adopts the method of combining harmonization and comparison. The method of overall reconstruction can be classified into recovering method and redesigning method according to the background of historic environment. The single architecture’s conservation and regeneration can adopts the methods of reservation maintenance, inner reconstruction and renovation or expansion.In addition, this paper explores part of the technical methods for regeneration and reconstruction of world heritage cities, also the overall road transportation,municipal piping network reconstruction and single architecture’s horizontal and vertical space, light,ventilation,fire control are included. Lastly, this paper describes the present situation of our country’s world heritage cities conservation, points out the problems existing in our country’s world heritage cities conservation and regeneration, finally provides measure and strategy for these problems. In order to protect our country’s world heritage, we should change views and thoughts, enhance administration to retain natives, speed up legislation related to heritage regeneration, devote attention to the necessity of heritage regeneration. Therefore, the world heritage cities can take a development path of Virtuous cycle.
